Drop Bear Adventures seeking Tour Guide to join owner-operated Fraser Island tour company
We are looking for an energetic, fit and healthy tour guide to join our young Fraser Island tour company. The successful applicant will guide 4Ă—4 tag along camping tours from Noosa to Fraser Island, showing visitors of all nationalities age groups around the island.
We pride ourselves on providing our guests from all over the world with a unique and personal experience that for many is the highlight of their Australian travels. Great interpersonal skills and a true team player attitude are essential, group management experience and an ability to memorise dozens of new names every week a plus.
If you are a responsible, flexible and attentive person with great communication skills, you already tick a lot of the boxes. 4×4 and camping experience or, at a push, the ability to fix a broken down 4×4, are all useful but not essential. Candidates who can strum a guitar, spin a great yarn or demonstrate any other entertaining/useful skills preferred. The successful applicant will also need to have/get a Drivers Authorisation licence and current first aid certificate.
