Noosa can be a pain to get around without a car and – let’s face it – most of our backpacker buddies arrive without their own set of wheels. Most hostels offer a free bus shuttle to get you from Sunshine Beach to Noose Junction, Noosa Heads, and back, but if you prefer to be a bit more independent, simply rent a bike! You can rent mountain bikes, family bikes or road cruisers from one of Bike On’s seven rental locations in Noosa.[vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”1890″][vc_column width=”3/4″]Kayak in Noosa
Noosa is surrounded by water on all sides and sometimes it seems like it might be easier to get around on the river, the lakes and creeks, than it is on the roads. Kayaking is definitely a novel way to see Noosa and the biosphere surrounding it. Kayak Noosa offer guided kayak adventures, including kayak fishing tours, a two hour Sunset Session and Dolphin Adventure tours. You can also hire a kayak and explore the Noosa River in your own time.[vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”1894″][vc_column width=”3/4″]Learn to surf in Noosa
Learn to surf on one of the most famous surf beaches in Australia, in one of the world’s best surf schools, owned by former world champion Merrick Davis. The safest reliable surf on Noosa’s Main Beach is the perfect location for beginners to learn – and if you stay around long enough, you might be able to graduate to some of the more difficult breaks in the region! The coaches guarantee that they will have you standing on your board within the first lesson… but more importantly, learning to surf in Noosa is great fun.
