The Best Noosa Backpackers – our Noosa Accommodation Tips

It’s important to us that Drop Bear guests are well looked after on tour or when just visiting Noosa. We also like our guests to arrive in a relaxed fashion and look forward to a chilled out stay on the mainland after leaving the island.

Whilst your wellbeing is in our hands during the trip, we do our best to make sure your stay in Noosa is enjoyable, too. Our accommodation tips will help you choose the best backpackers in Noosa to suit your needs and we can book you in to the backpackers of your choice.

Most Tours get off to an early start, so we recommend spending at least one night in Noosa before starting the tour from there and at least one night after returning (it’s not that late, but you’ll be tired).

Drop Bear Adventures offer complimentary pick up from all the following hostels. As most of our guests choose hostel accommodation, we only list backpackers, but we are happy to recommend hotels, B+Bs or self-catering accommodation.

Flashpackers

Facilities include super-comfy hotel-grade mattresses, twin pillows, full length mirrors, lockers… and that’s just the standard rooms! There’s also en-suite dorms, a 3-bed girls only dorm that comes complete with a hair dryer and straightener, as well as a luxurious private room with TV and its own small courtyard – perfect for couples. Solo travellers can enjoy the sociable vibe in the open-plan indoor/outdoor lounge area. Chill by the pool, play on the Wii console, watch films on the giant plasma TV or join in the free events like the Friday Night Aussie Sausage Sizzle or Cheese & Crackers (BYO Wine) night. It’s more pricey than the rest, but well worth the extra cost if you love your creature comforts (and we promise you’ll appreciate the excellent showers when you return from the tour full of Fraser Island sand!)
